We are trying to schedule some summer tour dates, which has proven a little tough with Andy's finishing up the spring semester and How I Became the Bomb's going to Europe for a few weeks at the first of summer. Our plans do include trying to make an Athfest date and an Athens Popfest date. We will keep you posted. Until we are able to hit the road, we have been busy writing and recording some new music. Some good things are brewing here in Murfreesboro.

Our music is now available at most online mp3 stores, including iTunes. You can also buy our CD via our MySpace page or our official website merch page. Check out our t-shirts for sale on the merch page as well. Keep checking back for new merch. We are trying to come up with some great new useless merchandise for your spending pleasure. Just kidding, but there should hopefully soon be buttons and stickers, at least.

The weather is amazing here. Good songwriting weather. But better touring weather. Keep your fingers crossed!

Hey, guys! Look who’s updating their website! Crazy, we know. We went on tour to Atlanta and Athens this weekend. We got to see REM live at a wedding reception that we crashed. It was pretty surreal but very awesome! We decided that Athens sucks for not allowing smoking in bars. All the people sat out on the patio while we played the best show of our career thus far. That may be an exaggeration, but it was a very, very good set. Oh, well. It’s okay because we saw REM. We’re also working on a full-length album with Jack Huey and it is SO close to being finished. We are aiming for a label to pick it up and press it for us so we don’t have to save up the money to do so. You are going to like it, we promise. It is sounding really awesome. We recorded this one to tape and the sound is so much better than digital. We’ll let you decide for yourself. Meanwhile, we have gotten Jack to make some impromptu mixes of five songs for temporary distribution, if you are interested in hearing a sampling of the new stuff. $3 for the album. That ain’t bad. E-mail us and we’ll send you a copy.

Usually, they say no news is good news, but in the music industry, that is not the case!  We do have a little news, though.  We finally got our 7-song e.p. mastered (listen here) at Yes Master.  Jim did a great job.  We are hoping to release it in proper form by the end of the summer. In the meantime, we are practicing as much as possible with Paul, given he's having to learn our whole set list.  We have a wedding gig (Branneth's) on September 11th, with Apollo Up!, The Whole Fantastic World, and The Lucky Guns.  Another show will be announced for September.  Check back.

If you know anyone who has $2000 to put up for recording a full-length, please let us know. :)
